Your MS is as Unique as You Are

Managing multiple sclerosis over your lifetime requires a trusting connection with a caring, highly qualified neurologist. The board certified, fellowship-training attending neurologists at IMSMP specialize in MS and create treatment plans uniquely tailored to each patient.

Our physicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for patient concerns and emergencies.

Neurologists

Our neurologists work with you to create short-term treatment plans designed to optimize quality of life, as well as a long-term maintenance strategy. Whether you are newly diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS, have secondary progressive MS and feel that you have run out of options, or battle primary progressive MS and are concerned about the lack of modalities, our goal is to bring clarity and comfort through a personalized plan, addressing every aspect of a patient’s life.

AT IMSMP, your first evaluation is divided into two appointments:

  • At the ‘assessment visit,’ the physician will discuss your history, get to know you, and perform a neurologic exam. Your doctor may decide to send you for additional diagnostic tests on site, if necessary, in order to complete your assessment. Please allow up to two hours for the appointment.

  • You will return for the ‘management visit’, in which your doctor will review your results and discuss a comprehensive plan for your care. This visit may be up to one and a half hours, or until every question you have is answered by your neurologist. You are welcome to bring a family member or support person with you.

  • Our Center offers a variety of support services and subspecialties. After your management visit, your physician may choose to refer you to other members of our team, including physical therapy, social work, dietetics, cognition care, or our naturopathic doctor.
