Results of a large multicenter treatment trial, called CombiRx, were recently published online in the journal Annals of Neurology. This trial examined whether combination treatment with copaxone and interferonβ-1a together is more effective than each treatment alone. Although the primary results showed no clinical benefit to combination therapy, there were no additional safety concerns.
