Neuropsychologist

Dr. Festa is a Neuropsychologist, the Director of Neuropsychology at St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals, and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology at Columbia University in the Department of Neurology.   She received her B.S. in psychology from Ramapo College and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship were conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina where she specialized in neuropsychology and health psychology.  Dr. Festa’s experience with multiple sclerosis dates back to her earliest training when she conducted the cognitive testing for the  Betaseron trials.  She has an extensive background in clinical research focusing on neurovascular neuropsychology, neurocognition in Moyamoya disease, the neurocognitive and psychological aspects of medical/neurological disorders, as well as the development of neuropsychological testing measures.  Her clinical practice focuses on adult neuropsychological assessment and treatment planning for patients with medical/neurological disorders.
